We sat down with Peter Sohn, director of Pixar’s upcoming movie Elemental, to talk about his inspirations behind the movie at the Disney+ Content Showcase earlier this month. He shared with us his struggles growing up as a Korean American, and also in a family with very traditional values.

Elemental will be released in 2023.
