According to Santa Fe district attorney
Mary Carmack-Altwies, the decision will be announced via social media and without a public appearance by prosecutors.

Adan Mendoza, Santa Fe’s county sheriff,
described "a degree of neglect" on the film set
outside of Santa Fe on October 21, 2021.
Mendoza delivered the results of a yearlong
investigation in October 2022, leaving the
decision about criminal charges to prosecutors.

did not include details on how live
ammunition ended up on the film set.
Since the incident, Baldwin has looked to clear
his name by suing people involved with
handling and supplying him with a loaded gun. .
Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the armorer who oversaw
firearms on the set, has also been the subject
of much scrutiny in the investigation.
An attorney representing Gutierrez Reed said that the
armorer believes she was the victim of sabotage and
maintains that she did not put a live round in the gun.
