A day before the release of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Bollywood movie ‘Pathaan’, youth Hindu organizations tore down posters and burnt them outside Deep Prabha cinema hall in Bhagalpur on January 24. The protesters also raised the slogan ‘Film Chalega Hall Jalega’ (The hall will be burnt down if the film goes on). Many Hindu organization activists are strongly opposing the screening of 'Pathaan'. They said that any element that opposes the Sanatan culture will not be tolerated in the country. The manager of the cinema hall, Lalan Singh said, “some anti-social people have burnt the poster of the film. A complaint has been given to the local police station and SP, the police have assured that security will be given.”
