Birmingham headlines 6 February: Diners flee Arcadian restaurant fire
Diners at an Italian restaurant in The Arcadian had to flee for their lives after a sparkler set off a fire in the premises. Footage of the incident has circulated online showing screaming diners at Caffe Di Milano on Saturday night trying to run for their lives.

National Highways has announced £1.5 million road works on the M6 southbound near Birmingham at Spaghetti Junction with overnight closures. New road markings and road studs will also be installed, with work starting on 20 February lasting until 25 March.

Brummy rock legend Ozzy Osbourne won two grammys for best rock album and best rock performance. The 74 year old who recently announced his retirement due to health issues was not about to attend the event, but left a message for fans delivered by producer Andrew Watt and Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo.
