India tax officials raid BBC offices after Modi documentary

Tax officials in India raided the BBC's offices in Delhi and Mumbai. Today's raids comes weeks after the channel aired a documentary on Prime Minisiter Narendra Modi's role during the 2002 Gujaraty riots, while he was Chief Minister of the state. But the 2-part documenatry never aired in India itself. With the government blocking videos and tweets related to it. Dozens of students were arrested in the country for defying a ban on its broadcast. A spokesperson for the ruling BJP party has accused the BBC of spewing anti-India propoganda, and denied Tuesday's raids had anything to do with the documentary.
