The 40th anniversary of Dennis Basso continued for the Fall 2023 season with iconic supermodel Beverly Johnson walking the catwalk to close the show. After the big event, we talked to the 70-year-old stunner and designer Dennis Basso. The New York designer asked Johnson to return for his latest collection. This was the first time Johnson walked in a Basso show. Basso took inspiration from his four decades of designing. 'I tried to take something from our archives from each decade and bring it forward and make it for the modern woman,' he said. The collection was a nod to the past but also the future. The line showcased luxury daywear, statement gowns, slim body-shapes, full ball gown skirts, pantsuits, and trench coats.
