Mammals are a group of animals that share common characteristics such as having fur or hair, being warm-blooded, and having female members that produce milk to feed their young. Some of the most well-known examples of mammals include cats, dogs, bears, bats, and humans. The hair on our bodies, even though it may seem thin, is considered fur and is a characteristic that we share with other mammals.
