It has been one year since the war in Ukraine began and an estimated 200,000 Russian troops have been either killed or wounded. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians and soldiers were slaughtered and millions of others were displaced. On this one-year anniversary, the brutal battle continues as President Joe Biden declares new sanctions against Russia this morning and announces more military aid for Ukraine.
