फाल्गुन मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि से होलाष्टक शुरू हो जाते हैं और फाल्गुन पूर्णिमा तिथि यानी होलिका दहन तक होलाष्टक खत्म हो जाते हैं। होली से आठ दिन पहले होलाष्टक शुरू हो जाते हैं। इस बार 28 फरवरी से होलाष्टक शुरू हो रहे हैं और 7 मार्च को होलिका दहन के साथ खत्म हो जाएंगे। होलाष्टक में कोई भी मांगलिक कार्य जैसे गृह प्रवेश, मुंडन, नामकरण, शादी-विवाह आदि करना वर्जित बताया गया है। चलिए आपको बताते है होलाष्टक में क्या करना चाहिए क्या नहीं |

Holashtak starts from Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month and Holashtak ends till Phalgun Purnima Tithi i.e. Holika Dahan. Holashtak starts eight days before Holi. This time Holashtak is starting from 28th February and will end on 7th March with Holika Dahan. In Holashtak, doing any auspicious work like house warming, shaving, naming, marriage-marriage etc. has been said to be prohibited.
