As voting is under way in Meghalaya, state BJP Chief Ernest Mawrie cast his vote in West Shillong constituency. Ernest is also BJP’s candidate from West Shillong. After casting his vote, he said, “I feel that my vote and the people's vote will decide my win. I will win this constituency as an MLA.”The voting for the Meghalaya Assembly elections began amid tight security on February 27 at 7 am. Polling is being held at 3,419 polling stations across 59 Assembly constituencies in the state. The voting will continue till 4 pm on Monday.
