A total of 2,156 flood victims from 621 families in Johor were rescued from their homes on Saturday (March 4) night, with six new temporary relief centres opened to house them.

All in all, the number of evacuees increased from 42,704 at 8pm Saturday to 44,860 as at 8am Sunday.
