मुगल बादशाहों (Mughal emperors) ने अपने खजाने (Treasure) को भरने के लिए कई रणनीतियां (Strategies)अपनाईं. जजिया कर (Jajiya kar) इसमें से एक है. जिस पर अकबर (Akbar) ने रोक लगाई थी. लेकिन औरंगजेब (Aurangzeb) ने उसे फिर से लागू कर दिया. औरंगजेब ने एक बेहद सस्ती चीज से अपने खजाने में काफी इजाफा किया था. वो सस्ती चीज का नाम तम्बाकू (Aurangzeb) है. उसने तम्बाकू पर टैक्स (Tobaccos Tax) लगाकर अपना खजाना बढ़ाया था.
