The Federal Government is pushing to increase the participation of women into the workforce to 59% by 2025.

Human Resource Ministry V. Sivakumar, on his recent visit to Penang, said as of now the participation of women into the workforce in the country is still low at 39% and the government is doing everything it can to increase it.
