FIGHT attendants! SkyWest jet is delayed by two hours 'after two staffers refuse to work with one another and storm off the plane in clash over a passenger who asked to swap from first class to coach'
showed at least two flight attendants bickering, which she said was over whether or not one of the first class passengers could swap seats with someone in coach so they could sit next to their husband.
A male flight attendant granted the request but a female flight attendant then reportedly told him not to allow it as it was against SkyWest's policy. The airline only allows people to swap seats up to 72 hours before takeoff.
The male flight attendant then started to yell at the female worker before she ran to the front of the plane and started to cry.
They kept bickering and going back and forth in the middle of the aisle about the rules, and what was right and what was wrong,' Brewer said.
Eventually, the video shows the male flight attendant getting off the plane, with a new crew member replacing him.
However, an hour after that - according to Brewer - the female flight attendant decided to get off the plane too.
'So then we just sat down and waited and waited and waited,' said Brewer, who called the flight attendants 'petty' for their behavior. 'And it was a whole big thing. They had the flight crew come on, the pilots came out and tried to talk through [it]. It was such an ordeal. And I'm so glad it's over.'
Passengers had to wait even longer until there was a full crew capable of operating the plane before it took off.
A spokesperson for SkyWest told DailyMail.com that they've launched an investigation into what happened.
