Australia to purchase up to 220 Tomahawk missiles at cost of $1.3b, as part of AUKUS partnership

The US State Department has approved the possible sale of one-point-three-billion dollars’ worth of tomahawk cruise missiles to Australia as part of the AUKUS partnership. The Australian government has requested to buy up to 220 of the missiles, as well as technical support systems.
