Muslims in Saudi Arabia and UAE or United Arab Emirates are all set to welcome the holy month of Ramadan. Ramzan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Beginning of Ramadan will be determined by the moon sighting. Islamic calendar is based on the lunar cycle. On March 21, the 29th day of Shaban, Muslims will look for the new moon. If the moon is sighted on March 21, Ramadan 2023 will begin from March 22. If the moon is not sighted on March 21, Shaban will complete 30 days on March 22. Accordingly, Muslims will observe the Ramadan fast on March 23. Watch the video to know more.
