A Philippine National Railways (PNR) train derailed while traveling in Don Bosco, Makati City Tuesday morning, April 18.

According to Francis Lumahan, one of the passengers interviewed by Manila Bulletin, said the train was traveling from Tutuban to Alabang when the derailment occurred. Lumahan said one of the PNR employees told him that a mechanism to switch railroad tracks in the area flicked, causing the train to divert to a different track.
