Birmingham headlines 26 April: Murder investigation after man stabbed in Kings Heath
West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was found fatally stabbed in Kings Heath. They were called to the High Street in the early hours of the morning after a man suffered serious injuries. A cordon was put in place.
Two men and a woman have been arrested after a bomb squad swooped on a house in Sutton Coldfield where "explosives" were found. Nearby homes were evacuated and surrounding roads cordoned off while the Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team examined the device.
A delivery driver from the West Midlands found a five foot snaking dangling from the dashboard of a car he was driving to a customer. The motorist noticed the stowaway reptile while taking the vehicle from a car dealership in Tipton to Leicestershire. It is believed the corn snake was an abandoned pet.
