The Prime Minister says he has been advised by the Attorney General that the State will be taking steps tomorrow morning to appeal the judgement in the matter concerning Brent Thomas versus the AG and the DPP.

The Prime Minister made the announcement during a media conference called at short notice on Thursday, as he distanced himself and the Cabinet from an operation which saw police officers flying to Barbados to detain Mr. Thomas and bring him back to this country.
