The difficult past of a man who attacked police in South Australia before being shot dead has been revealed in an old episode of the ABC’s Four Corners program. 15 years ago, mid north man Sean Ferris said he was left with nightmares after working as a guard at the Woomera detention centre. His family says their hearts are broken for the two injured officers with one still undergoing treatment in hospital.
