India-UK joint military exercise ‘AJEYA WARRIOR-2023’ has come to an end in Salisbury, England. Army personnel from both nations displayed their military skills during the biennial exercise. This year, exercise ‘AJEYA WARRIOR-23’ featured soldiers from the UK’s 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team…the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Gurkha Rifles and India’s 6th Battalion of the Bihar Regiment. This was the 7th edition of the joint army exercise between two nations. The Ajeya Warrior Exercise is a combined military drill, designed to provide company-level joint training focused on counter-terrorism operations in urban and semi-urban settings. The scope of this exercise involved a Command Post Exercise (CPX) at the Battalion level and Company level Field Training Exercise (FTX). During the exercise, participants engaged in a variety of missions testing their operational acumen in various simulated situations; showcasing and refining their tactical drills, and learning from each other’s operational experience.
