Public drunkenness is soon to be decriminalised in Victoria, but stakeholders say they are still waiting for clarity

Five months out from the end of Victoria’s public drunkenness laws, two of the state's major health unions say they're still worried the changes could end in tragedy. The move has their support, but the groups are calling for clarity on how first responders will be protected and what will happen to drunk people who do end up in custody.
