Wales headlines 24 May: South Wales Police deny chasing claims in Ely crash

Police and crime commissioner Alun Michaels is insisting that the two teenage boys who’s death lead to rioting in Ely were not being chased, despite CCTV footage appearing to show that was the case. 15 year old Harvey Evans and 16 year old Kyrees Sullivan were killed in a collision on Monday with memorials being left for the pair.

A woman has told police a man in Brynmawr attempted to abduct her 18 month old baby from its pram on Tuesday morning. Police were called to the scene at around 9.50 am, and are appealing for two dog walkers who were present to come forward - they are not suspects but could hold valuable information.

Strictly come dancing star Amy Dowden has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The 32 year old said she hopes that in coming forward about her diagnosis, people can help herself and other with their recoveries together.
