The Prime Minister's response to the Opposition's Leader's call for international observers for the pending Local Government Elections was surmised in one word - No.

In doing so during an event held by his party on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said international observers are free to be in this country for the elections, if they wish.

However, the Prime Minister sees no reason for them to do so.
