ACCC wants airlines to lower fares, improve service

Australia's consumer watchdog is taking aim at the two big domestic airlines, pointing to a lack of competition for pushing up airfares and leading to poor service. Qantas and Virgin fly more than 90 per cent of domestic passengers and the ACCC says that has led to aviation being one of the most concentrated industries in the country.
