The Transport Department has formally proposed handing over the operations and management of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to the private sector.

As senior correspondent Gerg Cahiles reports the agency's proposal to the National Economic and Development Authority aims to give the winning bidder 15 years to run the gateway.
