A man from Birmingham has been jailed for manufacturing deadly weapons using a 3D printer. David Biddell-Portman pleaded guilty to two charges of manufacturing a firearm and was sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday.

Two men have been jailed after being convicted of killing another man after he was attacked during a robbery drug deal in Birmingham. Richard Hopley was stabbed after being ambushed in Harborne. Nicholas Stallard was sentenced to 13 years and Paul Hayles received a 10 year custodial sentence for manslaughter.

An Oldbury man has pleaded guilty to murdering his wife. Legitte Reid was arrested last December after stabbing his wife Cynthia Turner at an address in Hilton Road. Reid, aged 52, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to murder and possession of a knife.
