Gesturing out towards the ever-rising river, Svitlana can barely contain her anger at the sight of water from the breached Kakhovka dam flowing downstream into the Ukrainian city of Kherson. Locals blame Russia for blowing up the dam, causing water from the mighty Dnipro river to flow down roads and cover low-lying fields. "Beasts, Russian beasts. What can you say? I wish they would all die," Svitlana says.
