A small fire was reported inside a coach of the Durg-Puri Express in Odisha's Naupada district on Thursday. It created panic among the passengers. The East Coast Railway authorities confirmed that the incident did not cause any injuries or casualties. Reports indicate that the fire originated due to a malfunction in the B3 coach's brakes, which were not fully released after the alarm chain was pulled. As a result of the incomplete release, the brake pads experienced friction and caught fire. Officials confirmed that no injuries or significant damages were reported, as the fire was limited to the brake pads.
