Video shows the moment a woman was reunited with her dog after it spent seven hours trapped - in a sewer pipe. Spike the Jack Russell went missing at around 3pm on Thursday in his owners' back garden in Buckfastleigh, Devon. After a search, they discovered that the pup could be heard barking from a sewer pipe and called the fire brigade. Teams from Buckfastleigh Fire Station and Newton Abbott Fire Station soon arrived after being diverted from an exercise on South Devon Railway. After deploying their 'snake eye' camera to locate Spike within the 100m pipe network, amazingly the teams eventually found Spike wedged 45 meters from the pipe's entrance. A video shows the moment the team managed to coax Spike into crawling backwards down the pipe, before eventually being pulled out by the team.
