Coroner refers 1996 shooting death at Qld crayfish farm to DPP

The death of a marine biologist 27 years ago will be referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions by a coroner who found "reasonable suspicion" a crayfish farm manager and his wife were involved. Jeffrey Brooks died after being shot in the chest by a 12-gauge single-barrel shotgun at a Beenleigh crayfish farm in 1996.
