Birmingham headlines 19 June: Hundreds join demonstration for safer streets after fatal road collisions
Road Safety campaigners took to the streets of Kings Heath on Sunday. Recent weeks have seen a number of collisions across the region, some fatal. Demonstrators gathered to demand better safety enforcement and behaviour from road users.

Traffic Officers have arrested four children for stealing a car in Halesowen. The officers made the arrests after attending reports of a burglary in the early hours of Saturday. Those who were arrested were aged between 13 and 15 years old.

A massive boa constrictor was found in the middle of a busy road in Aston. Officers had been driving along on patrol when they spotted the large snake slithering across the street on Park Lane Saturday afternoon. The officers bravely ushered the reptile into a pillow case with a broom. It was unharmed and will be rehomed.
