On June 20, Mumbai Police registered a case against Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi. A case has also been filed against the television show’s operation head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj. The case has been filed based on a complaint from one of the show's actors.
