In this hilarious and slightly (mis)adventurous video, Sam Ashleigh decides to try her hand at feeding a goanna out in the wild.
Surprisingly, things start off smoothly as the curious reptile gently takes the food from her hand.
However, the next attempt takes an unexpected turn when the monitor lizard, in its enthusiasm, mistakenly nips Sam's finger along with the food, resulting in a bloodied tip.
And that was how Sam learned that even in the animal kingdom, there are no table manners, and that one should have their guard up when feeding hungry reptiles!
