In what is being described as a major flare-up of violence in Syria’s last opposition stronghold, nine people have been killed and dozens injured after Russian fighter jets bombed a city in Syria’s rebel-controlled northwestern Idlib province. The air strike took place in Idlib's Jisr al-Shughur city which damaged a fruit and vegetable market as well. The strike comes a day after Moscow's top mercenary group briefly revolted against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
