The Para-sport Festival in Swansea welcomes athletes from around Wales and the world to the coast, with something for any sports fan. There’s golf, deaf football, wheelchair rugby, Boccia, para-fencing, and plenty of fun take-part events for people who come along. Taking place from the 10th until the 16th of July.

Beyond the Border storytelling festival comes to Dinefwr in Carmarthenshire, with music, poetry and of course storytelling from hundreds of guests from across the world. The festival is the biggest of its kind anywhere in the UK, and as it celebrates 30 years, will bring myths and legends to beautiful castle grounds and nature. Taking place from the 7th to the 9th July.

And finally, Cardiff is welcoming plenty of performers to the city in its famous open air theatre festival in Sofia Gardens. With famous plays like Macbeth and a midsummers night’s dream and new favourites like Matilda Junior, and even open-air cinema with the Rocky Horror Picture show. There’s something for everyone throughout July, on now until the 29th.
