Bonaventure Ndikung is one of the few people of African origin to head a German cultural institution, having been appointed to head the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of World Cultures) at the beginning of 2023. Through a range of programmes and exhibitions, he aims to highlight post-colonial multiculturalism in a place that has long been emblematic of Western hegemony in Berlin.
