CM Arvind Kejriwal led-Delhi government has banned the entry of heavy goods vehicles in view of the rising Yamuna river levels. This rule will not apply to vehicles carrying essentials. On July 13, Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said this decision has been taken as a precautionary measure. Gahlot shared a copy of the order issued by the Transport Department on Twitter. As of 1 pm on July 13, water level in Yamuna was 208.62 metres.
