In an immediate response Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Intelligence, Curt Simon told TV6 News that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is intimidated by no one and received no instructions from any politician to investigate the controversial audio recording of two top THA officials, allegedly conspiring to use public funds for propaganda.
