All Tasmanian high schools now extended to year 12

Almost a decade ago the Tasmanian government began one of the biggest changes to education in the state, extending high school to year 12. Previously, most high schools ended at year 10, and students would go to a college for years 11 and 12. But questions remain about whether it's worth the spend for urban and suburban high schools, which are close to existing colleges. The education union is calling for a review.
