NASA's Artemis II crew sees Orion spacecraft for the first time
The Artemis II crew, who will be flying around the Moon, sees the Orion spacecraft for the first time. Christina Hammock Koch, one of the mission participants, described the moment, saying, "When we peeked inside and looked around, you instantly recognize that this can only be one thing: a spaceship." Scheduled for late 2024, Artemis II will involve four astronauts taking a journey around the Moon. This mission comes before Artemis III, planned for 2025, aiming to land humans on the lunar surface for the first time since 1972.
