A supporting document in a complaint filed in the International Criminal Court at The Hague in the Netherlands has accused the Indian armed forces of abduction and attempted murder. The charge is part of the case against the March 2018 alleged abduction of Princess Latifa, daughter of the ruler of Dubai and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid al Maktoum. The princess had fled from her father and her family in Dubai and was heading for India to seek asylum. The Sheikh himself is an accused in the case.
