This is the adorable moment a California highway patrol officer helped guide a bear across the road.

The officer makes sure it is safe for the bear to cross safely by keeping a watchful eye out for traffic.

He stops his truck and tells the bear: “You’re good...I’ll get you across, come on boy...good boy, there you go.”

The cautious bear can then be seen to make his way to the roadside from the bushes, before eventually crossing the road and getting to the other side safely.
