For the first time ever in the history of world space science, the soil of the Moon has been profiled. The Chandrayaan 3 has found that there is a variation in the temperature up to 10 cm below the surface at the South Pole of the Moon. Four days after the successful soft-landing of Isro's Chandrayaan on August 23, Isro on Sunday shared the first observations of Chandrayaan 3. This is the first time that a temperature profiling of lunar soil around the south pole is being done.
