Fukushima's nuclear fuel removal tougher than wastewater discharge
Treated radioactive wastewater from the Fukushima Daiichi plant is being released into the Pacific Ocean. The water is diluted through a process involving seawater pumps before being released. Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings spokesperson emphasized that removing melted fuel debris is the ultimate solution for eliminating contaminated water.
