Air Canada has apologized to two passengers escorted off a plane by security after protesting that their seats were smeared in vomit on a flight from Las Vegas to Montreal. A passenger described the incident in a Facebook post, saying there was a foul smell and the seats and seatbelts appeared wet with vomit. She said airline workers tried to hide the smell with perfume but didn't fully clean the seats. When the passengers assigned to the seats complained, the flight attendant and supervisor said the flight was full, and they'd have to sit there. A pilot then intervened and told the women they could get off the plane and rebook at their own expense or be escorted off and put on a no-fly list. Security then escorted the women off the plane. Air Canada later said its procedures were not followed correctly and apologized to the passengers, who did not receive the standard of care.
