Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Sunday disputed reports of his net worth rising by $8.6 million every hour.
Daily Dot reported on Saturday that the billionaire CEO’s net worth went up to $250 billion over the last three years from $24.6 billion. The report averaged this to $142,680 a minute or $8,560,800 an hour.
“If he went to bed for eight hours, he'd wake up the next morning to find himself $68,486,400 richer,” the report said.
Musk responded to the report on X, formerly Twitter, and said, “Such a silly metric. It's not a giant pile of cash.”
