Take a Snap(photo)shot to copy words or images/picture from all or part of your PC screen.

Use Snipping Tool "to make changes or notes", then Save and Share.

Capture any of the following types of snips/clips/screenshots:
(1) Free-Form Snip/Cut:
Draw a free-form shape around an object whether it may be a screen or image or photo as picture.
(2) Rectangular Snip/Cut:
Drag the cursor around an object to form a rectangle (box, or square shape border).
(3) Window Snip/Cut:
Select a window, such as a dialog box, that you want to capture.
(4) Full-Screen Snip/Cut:
Capture the Entire Screen.
(5) Video Snip/Cut:
Capture a video clip of a rectangular selection of any part of the screen you like.
