इजरायल फिलिस्तीनियों (Israel Palestine) के बीच कई सालों पुराना विवाद था. वहीं जब इजरायल देश (Israel) के रूप में तैयार हो रहा था. तब उस प्रस्ताव का जवाहर लाल नेहरू (Jawahar Lal Nehru) ने जमकर विरोध किया था. केवल जवाहर लाल नेहरू ने ही नहीं बल्कि 13 देशों ने भी इसका विरोध किया था. वहीं 10 देशों ने इस वोटिंग से खुद को अलग रखा था. हालांकि पाकिस्तान (Pakistan) भारत (India) का विरोध कर रहा था. सवाल ये है कि आखिर क्या वजह थी कि भारत और कुल 13 देशों ने यूएन (UN) (United Nations) में इजरायल के गठन का विरोध क्या था.
