NT advocates call for voluntary assisted dying access for dementia patients

A panel of medical, legal and public health experts have been tasked with a tough challenge, seeking out the views of ordinary Northern Territorians, on the subject of voluntary assisted dying. While the NT is likely to be the last Australian jurisdiction to permanently legislate voluntary euthanasia, many Territorians have called for the territory to once again lead the country by allowing those living with dementia, access to the scheme.
